External Maintenance Work

Future Management and Construction have made good progress with the external works being undertaken at these two blocks of apartments.

In a previous blog we noted all the work that was to be carried out. FMC have now completed the repointing of the brickwork (replacing bricks where necessary) , this is a labour intensive job which needs to be carried out when the weather conditions are suitable for the mortar can “go off”. The photos below give an idea of the amount of pointing that was required.
All the existing timber cladding has been removed and replaced with upvc cladding which will require less maintenance in the coming years.

Preparation work is well underway for the installation of the new roofing system. (we will post photos of the roof shortly)
